The Charles J. Harbin, III (CJH3) Memorial Scholarship is pleased to announce the 2019 Scholarship award recipient.
2019 CJH III Scholarship Recipient:
Tina Alhani – Tulane University
Congratulations to Tina Alhani, our 2019 recipient! While attending Roswell High School, Tina excelled in academics with a rigorous schedule of AP and Honors classes, while also serving as an officer for the Key Club, Anchor Club, National French Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and founder of the UNICEF Club.
In her community, Tina has volunteered for years at the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System. This dedication to volunteerism earned her The President’s Volunteer Service Award. She’s also been involved with countless service projects including collecting book donations for the Zambezi Book Project that serves children in the Zimbabwe River region, and Blessings in a Backpack providing weekly nutritious food and snacks for school children in the community.
Tina will attend Tulane University this Fall where she’ll major in Business Management.
The selection committee extends their sincere thanks to each of the 2019 applicants for their thoughtful submissions. The noteworthy academic achievements, creative essays, and community service accomplishments made the selection especially challenging this year.
Way to go Tina, continue to make a change on our World! Many Blessings!
